Injection moulding machine, also known as injection moulding machine or injection machine, is the main moulding equipment for making plastic products of various shapes from thermoplastic or thermosetting materials by plastic moulds. It is divided into vertical, horizontal and all-electric types. Injection moulding machine can heat plastics and apply high pressure to molten plastics to make them inject and fill the mould cavity. It is the most widely used processing machinery in plastic processing industry. Recently, Luo Baihui, secretary-general of the International Association of Mold and Hardware Plastic Industry Suppliers, told Dongguan Daily in an interview with reporters from the Department of Economic News that more than 2,000 domestic injection moulding machines have been manufactured and their output accounts for 60% of the world's total.

China has become the world's largest producer of plastic machine parts. The reasons for promoting the development of China's injection machine equipment manufacturing industry lie in: first, joint ventures and technical cooperation with internationally renowned enterprises; second, Chinese enterprises have gradually adapted to the international procurement mode of mechanical parts and mastered the procurement channels. At the same time, the production of injection moulding machines in China also shows strong regional characteristics. Ningbo in Zhejiang and Dongguan in Guangdong have become important production bases of injection moulding machines in China and even in the world.
